Extracurriculars
I have been very happy with the increased level of physical activity for all of us since we've arrived here - having no car can do that. Then this week we took it up a level and jumped into even more activities: I'm back to running most mornings; Charlotte is doing a rhythmic gymnastics class for 1.5 hours twice a week (think tumbling, but with balls and ribbons); she is also swimming at the local pool for an hour a week (I swim at the same time); Cyrus is doing the same swimming program but for two hours a week (the kid is sneakily speedy in the water) and yesterday he started a salsa and bachata dance class (thanks to Aunt Jess who figured out the logistics and took him to the first class). We aren't sure how the dance class will play out because the schedule is a bit uncertain, but he loved it and it will hopefully be possible to do 2 evenings a week. (Photos are not action shots unfortunately - but more to come).

| Well-earned ice cream to end the week's activities |
