Ermita del Santo Cristo del Zapato

We hiked a shorter but much steeper route this weekend, up to the Ermita del Santo Cristo del Zapato, about a 40 minute drive from home. It was less than 3 miles of hiking (round trip) - but close to 2 hours, including a nice long lunch break - to visit a truly tiny church at the top. The kids were a little bit grumbly, but they coped ;) and the hermita was worth it. We have seen this church from the highway many times so it was great to be able to climb up and look at the amazing views around us. Also it was Uncle Dan's birthday so we sent him a song from the top.

  1. Love love love it! Happy anniversary, can't wait to hear about your antics in London! Hoxton Street Monster Supplies and Hamleys are both musts. And I wouldn't say no if you popped down to Queen's Park to Gail's bakery. Best. Blueberry. Brioche. In. London.
