Bibi gave these four grandchildren admission to the local water park for their 2017 birthdays. (Thank you Mom!) When I say "local," I mean we can walk there.
Aqua Tropic is a salt-water park, which was a nice change from the chemical bath experience of water parks in the USA. Our visit today really felt like a wrap on summer. Regular school starts next Monday, and I realized this morning while the kids were at language school that if we didn't go today, we wouldn't make it before the season ended. I am the right parent to do this kind of outing - I loved it too! We packed up when they got home from language school, met Eva and Dominic and headed out for the afternoon.

| torbellino = whirlwind or whirlpool, but this ride actually felt more like the flush of a toilet. You enter a steep tube at the top of a tower, which deposits you sideways into the top of a huge bowl structure. It's like being the marble in the museum exhibit that demonstrates the orbit of a planet around the sun. You gradually wind around and down until you fall out a ~6-foot-diameter hole in the bottom of the bowl - you are "flushed" - and then you free-fall maybe 8 feet through the air into a deep pool below. I did it also, and I made videos of these 2 nuts doing it, but I don't know how to post them. |

ReplyDeleteOk yes, the toilet bowl was more amazing that it sounded. My mom took videos from the top of us going though and now we are convincing her to get Snapchat so she can make them backwards. Can you put videos into Snapchat or do you have to take them on the app? Eva and I did the toilet bowl three times. Charlotte did it once and then went to the jacuzzi with Dominic. There was a tunnel slide where you would go through like the one in bexley except it makes lots of splashes! And it's filtered salt water so there is still salt. I also hurts. There is a really fast one here it does a big drop and then it slows you down and in the end you don't even get off the slide. There is one called the black hole where there is a drop at the beginning and pitch black and the you speed through turns and bumps. I hope my comment answered you question! ❤️💜💙💛💚❤️💙💛
