But if Catalonia pushes for independence after a referendum on October 1, he feels he should switch to a different team, maybe one in Andalusia (I recommend Sevilla). This is partly on principle, but also FC Barcelona won't be allowed to play in La Liga if they separate, and he knows his friends who are Real Madrid fans wouldn't let him hear the end of it.
Have to say, around here there isn't much sympathy for Catalonia.
