Crazy Cast at Camp

HI!!! This is Cy again!! This Blogpost will be about the names and some things about the people in our Camp class. This may sound like a boring topic to you but actually there are some quite funny ones. 

I will start first with A kid called Ignacio or something like that. We call him Nacho as his nickname. Nacho does these shows on the stage with his friends, Carlota, Jorge, Fran, Pedos, And Tony. These shows they call, "El Terrorista" Or, the terrorist. Nacho is the terrorist. [editor's note: these shows happened before the recent attacks in Barcelona. I don't know what to say about this exactly.--Piers]

I will now do Heladio. Heladio speaks some English. He has to know because he is in high school. The letters in Heladio almost spells out Helado which is ice cream in Spanish. Heladio is one of the nicest kids in group six. We are in group six. Heladio has a sister called Jimena. (He-Men-Uh-)

Now since we started talking about her I will do Jimena. Jimena is the youngest in our grade. She is 9 but 10 in November. We did a test to see who was younger, Her or me. I was older. Her friend group are people named Teresa, Lucia, and Helena. 

Now I will do the funniest. This boy is named Pedro. But since there were two Pedro's in the group one was named peuno, and the other was pedos. This guy is pedos. If you did not know, a pedo, is a fart in Spanish. But since we are calling this guy Pedos, it means we are calling this guy farts. So every morning we would go, buenos dias pedos! In English that would be, Good morning farts! He is fine with it. His friends are Nacho, Tony, Jorge, Fran, and Carlota. 

Now I will do another girl named Teresa. Teresa is the main girl that I dumped buckets of water on on water day at camp. We were supposed to dump water on people in the group on water day. Every Wednesday we have water day. And on Fridays, we have either a fiesta at the beach or go to the water park, Aqua Tropic. Aqua tropic is so fun.  

Now this person I will do next is probably the nicest girl in our group besides Eva, and Charlotte. Her name is Lucia. Lucia has helped me in so many ways. I will share one. When we were in dance class learning a very hard dance and I was messing up, she said, if you need help with it, ask me, as in Lucia. I was actually having a hard time and I felt that Lucia, using her few English words, told me that if I needed help she could give it. The only reason I was doing the dance was because Sufi, the dance teacher, said either you do it now or you do it in front of all the camp groups. Which is, 6 groups of like, 20 kids. But I was happy that she helped me and I did not have to do it in front of the entire camp. 

Now I will do Carmen. I have a couple good memories with Carmen. I will share one. At the end of dance class where Lucia helped me, we had to play a game called dare or kiss. (It was the teachers idea) Carmen was supposed to rub her hands on my face in a lovey-dovey way. Instead, she slapped me on the face but lightly and not at all lovey. We all laughed, including me, because that was not what she was supposed to do. [editor's note: we heard later there was no actual kissing in the game, because the kids placed their hands in front of their mouths. I don't know what to say about this either. -- Piers]

Now I will do Fran. I do not know Fran very well but he is still in the group. Fran is friends with Nacho, Pedos, Jorge, and Carlota. Fran's Hair is Brown but it has dyed tips. The tips are blonde. Fran is pretty nice. If you did not know, kids play much more violently in Spain including kicking and punching. Fran is nice because he does not kick and punch AS MUCH. his main best friend is Nacho

I will do Jorge now. Jorge is not my favorite person in the grade. He plays violently, and is not super nice. Little kids tend to follow his lead because they admire him. I also happen to know that some of the girls in our group have crushes on him so maybe he is only not nice to Charlotte, Eva, and me. I don't know.

I will do a girl named Ariadna. You're probably thinking, that was an auto correct, maybe Cy did not notice it. But no, Ariadna is her real name. Ariadna is one of the most energetic in the group. She has lots of energy. I mean LOTS. she loves to play and have fun. But she speaks 0% English and so it is hard for us to have a conversation. But by the end of the year we probably will be able to!

Now I will do Carlota. Carlota is the girl who hangs out with the boys more. She is energetic, almost as much as Ariadna, maybe more. Carlota usually has her hair up, and always is where she is supposed to be at the right time. She is friends with everyone in the grade. 

Now I will do Tony. I do not know much about Tony. He loves taking part in the terrorista shows which he helps make. And he loves dumping buckets of water on people's heads on water day. He did me like 10 times!!! His friends are the boys in the grade.
